Worldwide phenomenal BTS finally dropped their new song “Dynamite” on Friday, August 21. Like the title itself, it became an explosive comeback for the popular South Korean group. As per usual, the much awaited music video gained unbelievable attention and smashed Youtube records, top iTunes charts, and became one of “Today’s Top Hits” on Spotify.

The K-Pop boy band superstars overtake the crown from Blackpink’s “How You Like That” for the highest number of viewers in the first 24 hours of release. Blackpink got almost 86.3 Million views while BTS obtained more than 100 Million views in just a day. “Dynamite” also earned the most live views after it instantly collected approximately three million concurrent live viewers on Youtube video premiere.

BTS seven members — RM, Jin, V, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook — made history again after they broke several records not only on Youtube but also on several famous streaming services and charts. “Dynamite” has become the fastest song in iTunes history to reach number one in over 100 countries within eight hours. According to RM, the group’s leader, this new song was a new challenge for them since its lyrics are entirely in English language. BTS is the first-ever artist to achieve over 100 number ones on iTunes with songs in three different languages — Korean, Japanese, and English. The most popular boy group in the world also landed their new hit debut at the top spot on Spotify.
