Jennie Kim’s “The Idol”

We first meet Dyanne (Jennie) in episode one of The Idol, where we learn she’s a back-up dancer for the Britney-esque popstar, Jocelyn, played by Depp.

The Idol, a brand-new HBO program in which Jennie co-stars as the character Dyanne, marks her acting debut. Her first significant acting role was in the series, which debuted on Sunday, June 4. Prior to this, she was primarily known for her singing and dancing talents. Her involvement with the band that brought her to fame has been mentioned in every film credit she has received up until this point.
