2019 is the Age of DARK MODE:

People have been spending much more spending their time immersed with their mobile and laptop in their day in day out routine. It means that your eyes are more prone to stress and fatigue by all the white and bright colors that you see on your screen.

I’m going to talk about the benefits of using the Dark Mode. In our team here in Marvill Web Development we have spent much of our days on our laptop or big screen LCD tv for our work. Usually, we get a lot of stress by just spending our days looking thru the screens of our devices. It is then that we realize to shift most of our company websites to Dark Mode the primary reason is to provide our content viewers a less strenuous way of reading into our articles. However, there are some benefits that you might want to take note when using Dark Mode in your devices.

Here is a list of features that you might want to take note of;

1. Readability – while you might enjoy reading on the white or bright screen, you will find that in the dark mode, you will be able to read more because it lessens the strain your eyes.
2. Elegance – Dark or Pitch Black backgrounds helps you make your contents to stand out and put more focus on items that you want to highlight.
3. Battery Efficiency – others might not realize this, but in the age of super AMOLED devices, you get to save so much in your battery while having more screen time. The reason for this while viewing an item in your devices in dark mode black items are not using LED in this view it turns off the light in those areas that are black.

A couple of devices or OS have shifted to dark mode, and Facebook has implemented the dark mode in their messengers all you have to do is to send a crescent moon emoji, and the option for dark mode becomes available. Windows 10 has also implemented an option in their settings for Dark Mode. Samsung, in their One UI, has implemented a dark mode in their display settings. There are a lot more apps and devices that are shifting in this direction.
